InfoChem is pleased to announce a new release of SPRESIweb. With version 2.12 InfoChem has given a major refresh to the well-known structure and reaction database and reprised the original concept of only including structures abstracted from the literature. The benefit is improved content, focused on chemistry from organic synthesis journals, whilst retaining the relevant catalog data and supplier links. The well-known structure and reaction database contains now over 11.8 million compounds (5.4 million structures abstracted from the literature and 6.4 million molecules from catalogs) and 4.2 million reactions. InfoChem is pleased to announce the successful release of Chemisches Zentralblatt Structural Database Version 1.1. The database obtained through automatic named entity recognition on one of the most important abstracts journals for the time period 1830-1969. The ChemProspector demonstrator is now available to visitors of the THESEUS Innovation Center in Berlin. Chemical structure and full text searches can be simultaneously performed in databases such as Chemisches Zentralblatt and USPTO patents (2001-2010). Click here to read more about the project.

InfoChem has presented new achievements of the project "ChemProspector - Intelligent search of chemical structures in documents" at the THESEUS-SME Congress (German only). A demonstrator shown by Dr. Josef Eiblmaier illustrated successfully how a database containing 10,000 patents and 280,000 chemical compounds could be built automatically.
